# Network & Wallet Support

The entire G.E.M minting experience takes place on **Base** (of course we are based, because Alpha Labs' vision is based), an Ethereum Layer 2 network known for its low-cost transactions and fast execution. All voting fees, bids, and onchain interactions are handled in **ETH**, giving users familiar and seamless asset compatibility. To ensure maximum accessibility, the mint supports **any EVM-compatible wallet connected via WalletConnect** including Zerion, Rabby, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, and many more. If your wallet speaks EVM, you're welcome.
