# Alphaglyphs FAQ

<details>

<summary><strong>What is an Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

An Alphaglyph is a digital autograph, a verifiable, onchain signature created by a real person and permanently linked to one or many specific Alpha G.O.A.T(s).

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Are Alphaglyphs NFTs?</strong></summary>

No, they are not NFTs because they don't and shouldn't hold certain token characteristics. They are onchain cryptographic hashes with visual representations, attached to other NFT metadata, controlled by (a separate) Alphaglyphs Manager smart contract.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Who can create an Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

Anyone. Whether you're a cultural icon or a close friend, you can sign a G.O.A.T by creating your own Alphaglyph via the Studio.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can a single Alpha G.O.A.T hold more than one Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

Yes. Each G.O.A.T can accumulate multiple signatures over time, building a timeline of connection and history.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What’s the difference between an Alphaglyph and a signature that is minted as a regular NFT?</strong></summary>

Alphaglyphs are designed specifically for signing, they’re **stylized, timestamped, and cryptographically verifiable**, all embedded directly onchain, while if you mint an autograph as a standalone NFT it would become a transferrable separate token that has individual entity and no relation to autographs or NFTs created by other people.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is my Alphaglyph public once it’s signed?</strong></summary>

Yes. Every Alphaglyph is publicly viewable, permanently stored, and transparently tied to both the signer and the Alpha G.O.A.T. However, you have full control on how and by who it can be collected.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can Alphaglyphs be edited or removed?</strong></summary>

No. Once a signature is created and minted, it’s permanent. Alphaglyphs are designed to be irreversible, just like a real-world autograph.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can I mint an Alphaglyph on its own?</strong></summary>

No. Alphaglyphs are always tied to a G.O.A.T. You can only mint one as part of a signature event.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>How do I create an Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

Through the Alphaglyph Studio. It’s a guided flow that lets you use your name or any other form of autograph, stylize it, and configure it for being attached it Alpha G.O.A.Ts.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is there a limit to how many Alphaglyphs I can create?</strong></summary>

No, You can have multiple Alphaglyphs with different purposes, different designs and different collection mechanisms serving different purposes like Limited Drops, VIP events, etc.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What does a real Alphaglyph look like?</strong></summary>

It can range from a minimal signature to a stylized mark, depending on how it’s designed in the Studio. All Alphaglyphs follow a consistent visual language that makes them collectible and expressive.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can Alphaglyphs be sold or traded?</strong></summary>

No. Alphaglyphs aren’t independent assets, they’re attached to Alpha G.O.A.Ts. You trade the signed Alpha G.O.A.T, not the Alphaglyph alone.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What happens if a celebrity signs my Alpha G.O.A.T?</strong></summary>

That Alphaglyph becomes a permanent part of your personal PFP. It adds cultural and collectible value, and anyone can verify its origin and authenticity.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do Alphaglyphs affect the G.O.A.T’s rarity or metadata?</strong></summary>

They don’t change rarity tiers, but they **do** become part of the NFT’s evolving metadata, a kind of signature history layer.

</details>

<details>

<summary>A<strong>re Alphaglyphs visible on marketplaces?</strong></summary>

Yes. Alphaglyph data will be integrated into both the official platform and major secondary marketplaces, so buyers can see who signed an Alpha G.O.A.T before purchase.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do I need to own an Alpha G.O.A.T to sign other Alpha G.O.A.Ts?</strong></summary>

No. Anyone can sign an Alpha G.O.A.T, but the Alpha G.O.A.T owner controls who gets that access. It's a permission-based flow.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can I customize the style of my Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

Yes. The Studio lets you adjust layout, typography and visual flair, so each Alphaglyph feels personal and distinct.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What stops someone from faking a celebrity signature?</strong></summary>

Alphaglyphs do have a verification badge which is only given (manually and after a verification process) to verified celebrities. If anyone tries to impersonate celebrity signatures, they won't be able to get that badge. As we onboard and sign-on public figures, icons and idols to our platform, we distinguish their verified wallet addresses with a "Verified by Alpha Labs" checkmark so that you can easily verify which Alphaglyph is an authentic one anad which one is trying to impersonate other people.&#x20;

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Are Alphaglyphs limited edition or infinite?</strong></summary>

In terms of supply, there are 3 types of Alphaglyphs: Unique 1:1 editions, Limited Editions (Fixed supply), Open Editions (Unlimited supply).

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can I revoke or delete a signature I gave?</strong></summary>

No. Signing an Alphaglyph is permanent by design, just like signing a physical object. It’s a statement, not a tweet.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What happens if the same signer signs multiple G.O.A.Ts?</strong></summary>

Each Alphaglyph is still unique, different timestamps, different NFTs, different contexts. Think of it as a recurring but non-identical mark.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can brands or organizations sign Alpha G.O.A.Ts too?</strong></summary>

Yes . An Alphaglyph can represent an individual, a group, or a cultural entity.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is there a cost to create an Alphaglyph?</strong></summary>

The only cost to create and Alphaglyph is the small gas fee that is required to pay sign the creation transaction.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can Alphaglyphs evolve in the future?</strong></summary>

The visual presentation may receive upgrades, but the **core data** (signature, signer, timestamp, collectors) is forever locked and immutable.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Will Alphaglyphs be visible in my wallet or profile?</strong></summary>

Yes, they’ll appear as attached metadata to your Alpha G.O.A.Ts and within the visual representation of the artworks of your NFT.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can Alphaglyphs be filtered or searched on the marketplace?</strong></summary>

Yes. You’ll be able to filter by various parameters to discover the stories that matter to you.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What’s stopping someone from collecting thousands of signatures just for flex?</strong></summary>

Nothing, in fact if that's what matters to you, we encourage you to do so. One approach is to collect as many as possible, as the bigger your circle becomes, the more collectible value is added to your NFT. One other approach is to only collect the premium ones and the ones from people who matter to you the most. You can also own multiple Alpha G.O.A.T for multiple approaches. Pick your poison, this is a permissionless environment :)

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can all Alphaglyphs be collected by all Alpha G.O.A.Ts?</strong></summary>

No, When an Alphaglyph is created the creator decides, which rarity tiers are eligible to collect it. The rarer your Alpha G.O.A.T, the more premium Alphaglyphs available to collect.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can anyone sign my Alpha G.O.A.T without my consent?</strong></summary>

No and Yes. It's up to you. Alpha G.O.A.Ts can be configured to restrict people who autograph them. You can allow them to be publicly available for signing which means everyone can sign it without your constant approval (if you want maximum reach), or limit them to be signed by a specific whitelisted address or even no one (in which case you only can collect other people's Alphaglyphs by yourself)

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do I collect someone else's Alphaglyph or does someone else attaches their Alphaglyph to my Alpha G.O.A.T?</strong></summary>

It works both ways. There are to main ways of distribution for Alphaglyphs:

* Personalized Autography
* Free/Paid Collect

Personalized Alphaglyphs utilize a "push" mechanism, meaning that the creator of the Alphaglyph can choose an Alpha G.O.A.T and sign it (in case the owner allows).

Non-personalize Alphaglyphs utilize a "pull" mechanism, meaning that they will be available for collection in our Alphaglyph marketplace, in both Free Collect and Paid Collect forms.

If you want a Personalized Alphaglyph it only can be given to you by the owner of that Alphaglyph and is always free. If you don't have access to a given person, you always can collect the Alphaglyphs they put on Marketplace which can be both free and paid.
