# Minting and Distribution

Thanks to the G.E.M Protocol, the minting and distribution of Alpha G.O.A.Ts follows a system that prioritizes fairness, transparency, and user involvement. Here’s how the process works:

### Launchpad Goes Live

When the launchpad is activated, it begins the structured rollout of the NFT distribution process. This phase includes multiple rounds, each designed to fairly determine a winner for each available Alpha G.O.A.T based on predefined criteria. The selection process follows the framework outlined in the G.E.M Protocol, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trust in how each winner is identified.

### Minting By the Team

After the winners are finalized, the team proceeds with minting the NFTs. Each NFT is encoded with unique metadata that verifies its authenticity and origin. This step ensures the asset is permanently recorded onchain as a verifiable digital collectible, ready for future use across Web3 ecosystems.

### Autography By Announced Figures

Once minted, select NFTs are autographed by designated Genesis Signers. These Alphaglyphs are applied directly to the NFTs prior to distribution, adding an additional layer of provenance and historical value. Each signature marks early participation and forms part of the collection’s Genesis identity.

### Airdrop to Winners

In the final step, NFTs are airdropped to the wallets of their assigned winners. This marks the official transfer of ownership, completing the process. The airdrop is handled securely and efficiently onchain, ensuring recipients receive their G.O.A.Ts directly, with all attributes, signatures, and metadata intact.
