# Alpha G.O.A.Ts FAQ
What are Alpha G.O.A.Ts?
Alpha G.O.A.Ts are an NFT collection designed as dynamic identity assets, each one unique, collectible, and capable of evolving over time through onchain interactions like Alphaglyphs.
How many Alpha G.O.A.Ts are there?
The collection is capped at 10,000 NFTs, each with unique traits and varying levels of rarity across six defined tiers.
What makes Alpha G.O.A.Ts different from other PFP collections?
They’re more than profile pictures. Alpha G.O.A.Ts are designed to collect signatures, store provenance, and serve as evolving digital relics that reflect personal identity and social history.
How are Alpha G.O.A.Ts minted?
Through G.E.M: a gamified minting protocol that uses rounds with different formats like limited participants, double-rewards, giveaways, mysterious rounds, bidding, or lucky draws. Participation shapes the minting outcome.
What are the rarity tiers of Alpha G.O.A.Ts?
Alpha G.O.A.Ts come in six rarity tiers. Each tier has its own visual style, trait pool, and occasionally, specific signers during the pre-signing phase. Here are the tiers from least rare to most rare:
* Common
* Uncommon
* Special
* Rare
* Masterpiece
* Legendary
Are Alpha G.O.A.Ts pre-signed before distribution?
Yes. Before being airdropped to winners, Alpha G.O.A.Ts are pre-signed by six notable public figures, each assigned to a range of tiers based on rarity. So Commons are airdropped with 1 collected autographs, Uncommons will have 2, Specials will have 3, all the way to Legendaries which are signed by all 6 legends.
Can Alpha G.O.A.Ts be signed more than once?
Yes. After minting, owners can collect additional Alphaglyphs (onchain autographs) from friends, icons, or anyone they invite to sign their G.O.A.T.
How do I get an Alpha G.O.A.T?
You can acquire one by participating in a minting round via G.E.M or purchasing one on the secondary marketplace after the launch.
Do Alpha G.O.A.Ts change over time?
Yes. As Alphaglyphs are added, the NFT evolves (visually and onchain) making each one a living, personalized collectible.
Can I customize my Alpha G.O.A.T?
Customization happens through interaction, specifically through signatures and features integrated into the Alphaglyph Studio. You shape it by what you do with it.
Are Alpha G.O.A.Ts ERC-721 or something else?
Alpha G.O.A.Ts follow the ERC-721 standard with enhancements that support modularity, dynamic metadata, and future extensibility.
Is there a limit to how many Alphaglyphs an Alpha G.O.A.T can hold?
No there's no signature cap, collect as many as you like, the more you collect, the more value is added to your NFT over time.
Are all Alpha G.O.A.Ts unique?
Yes. Every Alpha G.O.A.T is a one-of-one, with its own visual traits, tier, and signature potential.
Are Alpha G.O.A.Ts tradable on standard marketplaces?
Yes. Once airdropped, they’ll be tradable on all major marketplaces that support ERC-721 NFTs, and if we launch a native Alpha G.O.A.T Marketplace in the future, definitely there as well.
What happens if I sell my Alpha G.O.A.T?
All attached Alphaglyphs (signatures) stay with the NFT, they’re part of the asset’s provenance and identity, increasing its uniqueness and potential value. So if you sell your Alpha G.O.A.T, you sell the NFT and all autographs attached to it as a whole.
Will there be future utility or perks tied to owning an Alpha G.O.A.T?
Yes, there will be many perks and drops associated with loyal users who own and hold an Alpha G.O.A.T, but you don't expect us to spoil all the fun now, right? Right?
Can I choose the G.O.A.T I want to mint?
